Meet Jules
The First Custom AI Travel Companion
Many of you know me for my travel advice. What some of you may not know is that I’m also a data scientist.
Not the most obvious combination, I know, but it’s actually been the foundation of everything I do here. The way I research destinations, structure guides, and think about logistics is all informed by how I’m trained to look at problems. Find the signal in the noise. Build something that scales. I don’t just collect data, I think about how to make it useful.
This past month brought two experiences that collided in a way I didn’t expect, and produced something I’m genuinely excited to share with you today. It shows me again the transformative power of travel!
We just returned from two weeks in China with our boys, crisscrossing a country that is unapologetically future-looking while still proudly anchored in its own history. Ancient temples sit in the shadow of some of the most advanced infrastructure on earth. China is a country that has modernized at breathtaking speed but remains completely, totally itself. There is something deeply instructive in that, building a future informed on where you’ve been.
A few days after we landed home, I attended the Women in Data Science conference here in Geneva. For a full day I sat in rooms with women who build things: researchers, engineers, founders. The message was clear. AI is no longer a tool for the few, and the barrier to building has never been lower. The question is not if you can build, it’s what will you build and why.
I sat there thinking about the travel tips and stories I share with the parents in my own life. And I thought about all the parents I can’t reach, because, well, the busy life of being a parent, a traveler, and a professional.
But what if I could be there for everyone, all of the time?
So, meet Jules!
Jules is not just any generic AI travel companion, she’s built on my knowledge and first-hand experience traveling the world with my own kids. Not scraping from the internet. My Substack posts. My paid destination guides. My first-hand notes from 70+ countries across 5 continents, over 30 of them with my own boys. The restaurants I can’t forget. The hotels I stayed, and lingered, in. The mistakes I made, so you have the solutions at hand and won’t have to make them all over again.
Ask Jules about Tbilisi with a toddler and she’ll tell you about the playgrounds in Giorgi Leonidze Park, warn you that the Betlemi Quarter is steep with a stroller, and recommend you tip the Free Walking Tour guide at the start so you can slip away guilt-free when your kids hit their limit.
Because that’s what I’d tell you myself.
Jules also knows when to search the web for things outside my experience, and she’s transparent about it. She’ll tell you “I haven’t been there personally, but here’s what I found” rather than pretending. Every response is tagged with the source of the information. Transparency is important to me in my own life, so Jules won’t fake it. Honest advice, not confident guessing.
I’m offering founding member access to 50 people who will be locked in at a one-time price of CHF 25. Here’s what that means:
Lifetime access to Jules (up to 1,000 queries, enough for years of family travel planning)
Access to every destination I add to her knowledge base as I keep traveling and writing
Direct input into what Jules learns and how she improves
The founding member price is locked forever, never automatically upgraded or charged again
This is not a subscription. You pay once. Jules is yours.
I started Travel WITH Kids because I believed travel and kids aren’t in conflict. They’re a combination that changes both of you. Jules is the natural evolution of that mission.
That mom that’s been everywhere? She’s right here. 24/7.
I can’t wait to see what you ask her.

Amazing idea!!! Can't wait to try her out :)
